About this paddle
Most starter paddles feel cheap. The S1 Play doesn't. The gritted fibreglass face grips the ball, the 12mm core gives you actual feedback, and the build holds up to a few hundred rallies a week.
It's designed for new players and the people they drag onto the court, not as a "training wheels" paddle you'll outgrow in a month.

Is the S1 Play a good pickleball paddle for beginners?
Yes, it's built for them. The gritted fibreglass face grips the ball, so you can put shape on shots without pro-level wrist work, and the 12mm core gives clear feedback on every hit. It's rated beginner to intermediate, so it isn't a paddle you outgrow in a month.
What is the S1 Play made of?
A grit-coated fibreglass face over a 12mm polymer honeycomb core, in a standard paddle shape. It comes in blue or green, and the colour is the only difference.
Is the S1 Play USAPA approved?
It's built to USAPA and international spec, but it isn't on the official USAPA-approved list for sanctioned tournaments. That's deliberate: it's made for rec, club and social play, and most players never enter a sanctioned event.
How much is delivery on the S1 Play?
Standard delivery is $10 (2–6 business days) and free on orders over $110, so an S1 Play plus any pack of balls ships free. Express is $17 (1–2 business days). Orders placed before 12pm Melbourne time on a business day leave the same day. We ship Australia-wide only.
Can I return the S1 Play?
Yes. Unused paddles in their original packaging can go back within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange: email returns@swingooo.com.au to start. Change-of-mind return postage is on you. If it's faulty, damaged or wrong, tell us as soon as you notice (photos help) and we'll repair, replace or refund it, with a prepaid return label. For a major failure, you choose a refund or a replacement.
