Why the third shot matters

After the serve and the return, the serving side is usually stuck at the back, with the other side at the net.
The third shot drop is a soft, arcing shot that lands in the kitchen. It buys you time to move up.
It's the hardest shot in the game for new players, so expect plenty of misses this week.
